Spring Shenanigans

I had to Google how to spell shenanigans.
As it would turns out, I apparently do know how to spell it.
I spent my Thursday making scrambled eggs for breakfast, writing letters to friends, getting eggs at the farmers market, crafty things at Jo-Anns, thrifting at Goodwill, and clearing out the garden & flower beds.
Spring is here and it is glorious!

Even my envelopes are spring-y right now.

All this dead yucky stuff was suffocating the new life trying to come in. I cleared it out and found green sprouts everywhere! :)

 Out with the old..

 ..and in with the new!

One of my favorite things is being barefoot in the garden dirt. I love how it feels on my toes.
Spring is finally here in good ole' PA! I am one happy gal. :)

Growin' Up

Yesterday, I walked out of South Hall and was finally finished. My finals completed, my schoolwork done, and my high school years behind me. It's really weird to think of how this is the last of certain things. Like my last time putting together my school portfolio, going to youth group, having sleepovers and seeing movies with friends. It's sad, yeah, but soon there will be lots of new things. New school (kinda..), new friends, new church group and new adventures. I'm trying to look forward while still appreciating the past. It's tough, but it'll be good in the end.

Happenings in the Garden

Last year, I planted five butterfly bushes, as well as a few pink cone flowers. This year they're doing wonderfully, and attracting a lot of different insects.

A hummingbird moth, a really interesting species that I'd never seen before.

I Love...[22/52]

I love freshly cut flowers! The butterfly garden I started last year is going strong! This week I cut two of my pink Coneflowers off, and a tiny bit off the butterfly bush to brighten up the kitchen table.
