Time for part two of my little tour through the Grand Canyon!

This is a simple two-shot pan of the canyon. Instead of going left-to-right, it goes bottom-to-top to get a wider view, getting some of the canyon, plus the wispy blue clouds above!

This is one of the few shots of me from the trip. It was about 35 degrees at the time, and my Dad was off wondering somewhere so I set the tripod up for a quick self-portrait.

The layers in this park are amazing, it just goes on and on!

Now for a normal panoramic image of the Canyon. I took a lot of pan's, but this one happened to be one of my favorites.

This last shot is from sunset, unfortunately it clouded over as a snowstorm came in to the Canyon, but that itself was a pretty awesome sight. At the time this picture was taken, it felt like -5 degrees and the wind was coming at us at 30-40mph. It was ridiculously cold. But once again, the good things in life are worth getting up early (or apparently, cold) for. Hope you enjoyed the pictures.
AMAZING!!! I love the first one! :)

Wow, they're all awesome. I like the last one. It's different from most Grand Canyon pictures, and yet still stunning. I like the mist.
ReplyDeleteLast March my family went to the Grand Canyon, and I got some pictures, but I'd LOVE to go back. And next time, I want to bring a tripod. :)
Thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteA tripod is a must for all semi-serious photographers! I love mine (I got a new one about a month ago), it's a Promaster. I'd suggest Manfrotto too!
Great, great pictures!
