This is a video I took going to work. I'm having way too much fun with time lapse videos. :) It skips at the very beginning going down the hill..my only error. Oh and it looks like I didn't stop at the stop signs.. I DID STOP. Haha. :) The drive is about 17 minutes and it took somewhere between 700-800 pictures.

Spring TL
Spring is in the air! ..& the clouds, mountains, and trees. :)
My sister got me an intervalometer for my birthday. What on earth is that? It plugs in like a shutter release and tells the camera to take pictures at intervals (this was 3 seconds apart). Then I just combined them in Movie Maker into a video. :)

Acadia Time Lapse
While in Acadia NP this fall, I did a time lapse film. What on earth is a time lapse film you ask? Excellent question. It's very simple, all I did was take one photo every ten seconds for a long time. I combined them all in Windows Movie Maker and presto, time lapse video. It is good to pick a subject that moves a lot (but not too much), such as fast moving clouds or the setting sun. You can view my previous time lapse here. This is really a fun project to try if you've got some extra time on your hands! linking up at photo tip tuesday, communal global, & the creative exchange.

Time Lapse Video
I tried something new today. I sat outside on my deck for thirty minutes taking a picture every. ten. seconds. This got really old. Fast. 152 pictures in a video that is a whooping 19 seconds long. I obviously need to get a life. But I think it's pretty nifty. Enjoy!
