>> Hawk Mountain Sunrise Hike 2017

Every year for the past four (five?) Easter Sundays, we have climbed up to the North Lookout at Hawk Mountain and watched the sunrise over the hills. I know this tradition may not last forever, but right now I'm grateful to start off this day with a beautiful view, good friends, and doughnuts.

The sun peaking up into the valley.

^^ A rare photo of the three of us together that's not a selfie.
I'm thankful for traditions that give me a reason to get some fresh air, glorious views from a mountain, and the company of wonderful friends.

Hawk Mountain Mornings

Just a few photos from one of my favorite places, Hawk Mountain. :) The foggy mornings, early sunshine and empty trails are a lovely combination.

The Last Snowy Hike

Spring is finally in the air here. Most of the snow has melted and the temperatures are getting warmer (it's about time)! So, on this lovely first day of spring, I'm posting my last snowy pictures for the season. :)

The brilliant part about hiking in the snow is there are no rocky trails.. just flat snowy ones!

Carolyn & I also stopped by a creepy/cool cemetery to find a geocache.. we also found a lot of black and turkey vultures.

Beautiful Pennsylvania.. I love these hills. :)
Happy spring everyone!! Here's to blooming flowers, green trees, flip-flops, shorts, and longer days!

PS: I'm in Ohio, so I'll be taking a short blogging break. I'll see y'all on tuesday! :)
