Mike & I have purchased memberships to Longwood Gardens for the past three years. It's about an hour and fifteen minute drive from our area and we enjoy making the trip down a few times a year. This year the fountains made their debut back after a two-year long restoration project and let me tell you, they are stunning! On this particular night that we went, they also had a lantern festival that was beautiful.

The illuminated fountain show was incredible and the music choices were great. We enjoyed it so much that we went to another show later in the summer! If you're looking for a beautiful afternoon getaway, look no further than Longwood Gardens in Kennet Square.
