2010..what a year it's been. It has had its ups and downs, but through out the year I've learned so much. It's amazing how much you can grow in one year, how much change can happen. I know, I've been touching up on this a lot, but I am just so thankful for where I am right now. So, I picked out a photo from every month, and plan to do a little recap of anything important for you..hope you enjoy. :D
February brought more snow than I've seen in my lifetime. It was awesome.
April was the month of my first college visit, to Liberty University. Oh and we went to D.C., obviously. :D
This is from a gorgeous hike up at Pulpit Rock, during May. I'm randomly throwing this tidbit of information in here. :D This year, I've been in fifteen states, two Canadian provinces, and put over 5,000 miles on my car.
July brought on Missions Delaware, a fantastic trip where we all met some amazing people!
I got my beautiful new camera!! & we went to Maine in August..enough said.
September, I shot my first senior, repeatedly, in the face, with a Canon. (I'm hilarious, I know, I know.) There was also the local fair, where I won the Jr. Photography Department Trophy for the fourth year! PLUS, I got my license, sweet freedom!!
October was easily my busiest month. I started my internship at the photography studio, shot two seniors on the side, while still taking misc. fall photos as well, and doing my schoolwork. How I survived? Still not sure!
Finally, we reach December. How could a month be bad when you start it out with an amazing trip to the OCC Warehouse in North Carolina, and end it with a trip to Canada? Not to mention multiple sleepovers at your best friend's house, cookie making, Christmas, holiday cheer, friends, & family, how could it be nothing short of amazing?
What a year it's been. I can hardly believe that in 2011, I'll start my senior year. How crazy is that? I am grateful for so much. For the amazing blessings I've been given, like my family, my church, my youth group, and have I mentioned my amazing friends? They honestly keep me going, that and the never ending love of my Savior. There's also things like my talents, abilities, and even my personality (which I'm pretty fond of most of the time) that I'm so thankful for. I'm rejoice over the fact that I've been given a willing heart, one to serve a God who's got such bigger plans than I can imagine for me.
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11
