Soooo. Where to begin. I guess in September 2008, when my friend invited to me to a "glow in the dark night" at her youth group. They were going to play dodgeball. I love dodgeball. How bad could it be?
It wasn't bad. It was awesome. The next April, I went on my first RWR (retreat within a retreat, we worked all weekend in the kitchen), and I had sooooo much fun. Unfortunately, Wednesday night youth group stops for the summer after May. BUT, in September, it started back up again. I started going every week. I feel welcomed every time I step through the doors. I love my youth group so much. I've met so many amazing people, and learned soooo much!
The last night of youth group this year, we learned our youth pastor wouldn't be coming back. God has plans to use their lives elsewhere. I think everybody cried, even the guys. We love him and his family so much. We disguised the last Sunday Devotional Night as a surprise going away party, us girls had made him a scrapbook. And the guys...
..after being all secretive..
..got him a giant stuffed Chick-fil-a cow dressed a ninja with all kinds of jokes written on it. It was awesome.

I love you guys so much. I can't tell you how much youth group has meant to me the past year, honest. Annie, you're an amazing woman who God shines through, and such an amazing example to me, and all the girls in youth group. PF, you've been a fantastic leader to our (somewhat crazy) group, as well as me. You've been a huge help through prayer and so much more in my walk with God. As for Stella and Bruce, you are the cutest kids ever. Period. We're praying for you, Pastor Sid, Annie, and your kiddo's, as you begin this new chapter of your lives! Much love! ♥
