The Perfect Storm

Two weeks ago to this day, we had this awesome storm. I've tried photographing lightning so many times, but I've ended up with one decent picture, and one okay shot. This time I knew a bit more what I was doing, it involved..

A tripod, lightning, charged battery, empty memory card, and ..oh yeah, 500+ shots fired. That's right. In about fifteen minutes, I shot over five-hundred pictures. With how many pictures of lightning? Five. Oh well, totally worth it. (Oh, and that shot is straight off the camera, minus a crop into vertical) Anyways. I'll shush now, enjoy the shots!

Don't try to look for the lightning in that shot, there is none, haha. Just cool clouds.

I love shooting extreme weather. I could do it all day! I'd love to go down to Tornado alley and shoot some big ones, unfortunately I'd probably get myself lost and caught in a tornado or something. Any who, that's all I've got, really! Until the next storm, at least!
