After many rained-out dates of trying to make it to the zoo, we finally succeeded. It just so happened to be on a record-breaking hot May day, with a high of 95f. It was a scorcher, so I didn't take many pictures. Enjoy the ones I have though!
Prairie dog baby kisses! Those two are some of my all-time favorites from the zoo. Such a cute moment!
The Philadelphia Zoo has a beautiful new bird facility, I could have spent hours in there.
They had ten Lego creations of zoo animals around the zoo, they were really neat!
Gus, the giraffe wins the award for my favorite zoo animal. He wasn't being very cooperative for photos, he seemed pretty busy nomming on leaves. Sorry about the fact that there's actually no pictures of lions, tigers, or bears. They were sleeping. Regardless, hope you enjoyed the photos!
