Washington DC [Part 1]

Hey everyone! Last weekend I was privileged enough to head down to DC for the lovely Cherry Blossom festival. We were supposed to go last year, but unfortunately family things came up. We had a free two days this year, so went down on Friday and stayed until Saturday afternoon!
The World War II memorial with the Washington Monument in the background. Yes, there was a LOT of people!
The Lincoln Memorial with the reflecting pool and a duck. Because who doesn't love ducks?
I hiked up the stairs to see ole' Abe. He was pretty cool.
Just one of the many lovely cherry blossom tree's!
One of the tulip gardens with the monument in the background. More pictures to come, stay tuned!

  1. I love the one with the duck; it's not a typical Washington D.C. shot that you see all the time. :)
