Hello to Seniors of Classes 2011 & 2012!
You can take a deep breath, because now having your senior pictures can be easy, fun, and affordable! Graduating high school is a great milestone in your life and an excellent time to be remembered through photographs. Here's some details to help you know what to expect from a senior session.
Senior sessions include about two hours of shooting at one or two locations with a few outfit changes. The goal is to capture who you are and what you are like. I'll probably ask questions like "are you involved in sports or band?", or "do you have something you're passionate about?" to help me get to know more about you to plan a successful session.
I am an on-location natural light photographer, which means I don't shoot in a studio or use any false light such as flashes or strobes. Life doesn't happen in a studio. I want my photographs to be real, to be you. A couple of my favorite locations in the Berks County are Gring's Mill, Lockridge Park, the Temple Train Station and Daniel Boone Homestead. These aren't the only locations though! The shoot can be anywhere you want it to be - your backyard, school, just about anywhere!
The other frequently-asked about subject is your outfit choice. The key to this one is simple - be yourself. I do suggest you avoid wearing things with busy patterns, white clothing, and shirts or sweatshirts with big logos on them, but it's okay to break those rules sometimes! Plan ahead and bring lots of clothing and accessories like hats, scarves and jewelry. It's also a great idea to include props that are meaningful to you. Things such as ballet slippers, a soccer ball, musical instrument, or even your pet!
The best part about my senior photography is that it's affordable! A two-hour session only costs $55. Plus if you'd like to add on an hour it's only an additional $25. The cost includes my time at the session, travel up to 15 miles, and retouching of photographs. I haven't heard of anyone regretting having their senior pictures done. They really are a great memory to have of your high school years.
So what are you waiting for?
Here are a few brief comments from past Senior session clients:
"It was awesome! Sara was flexible if I saw a shot I wanted to take, and she had plenty of ideas herself. I had a lot of fun spending time with her. She was very easy to work with. I really love my pictures! I keep getting compliments on how great they are. Sara's shoots are very reasonably priced, and are well worth it! And as for someone who is usually the one taking the pictures, it was really great to have an experience and creative person to work with. I would recommend her to anybody!" Megan Pyne Class of 2011
"My experience with Sara W. Photography was wonderful. She spent time making sure I got the pictures I wanted. I am very happy with my pictures!" Rachel Manwiller Class of 2011
"Sara was fun to be around and very nice. She made taking pictures fun and she was patient with a “blinker”. The pictures were very impressive and the quality was excellent. I definitely recommend her for senior pictures." Sarah Gilmartin Class of 2011
